Moscow – PhosAgro Group set a new record in terms of its monthly agrochemical production and shipment volumes in January 2025.
For the first time in its history, the Group produced over one million tonnes of mineral fertilizers, feed phosphates, and sodium tripolyphosphate.
Alexander Gilgenberg, General Director of Apatit, said: “This is the result of our large-scale investment programme. Last year, the company invested a record RUB 75 billion to develop its production facilities in the Murmansk, Vologda, Leningrad, and Saratov Regions. Over the past decade, we have increased our agrochemical production by 90%, raising the production targets every year. By producing a record 1.06 million tonnes of agrochemical products in January, PhosAgro has laid the groundwork to maintain this momentum in 2025.”
In January, PhosAgro also achieved two all-time shipment records, exceeding one million tonnes for both agrochemical products (1.07 million tonnes) and apatite concentrate (1.01 million tonnes).
Sergey Pronin, Deputy CEO and Commercial Director of PJSC PhosAgro, said: “Thanks to efficient collaboration between our transportation team, Russian Railways, and port administrations, as well as the efficiency of our logistics partners, we have maintained high production rates while delivering on our commitments to customers in our strategic priority market — Russia — and across more than 100 countries around the world.”
